GAA fans are in for a bumper weekend of championship action with a packed schedule of hurling and football clashes set to air across RTÉ, BBC, and GAA+.

From provincial football drama to the start of the Munster and Leinster hurling championships, there’s plenty to keep GAA supporters glued to their screens this long weekend.

Saturday throws in with a heavyweight Leinster hurling showdown as Kilkenny welcome Galway to UPMC Nowlan Park at 3.45pm, live on RTÉ. That’s followed by two provincial football quarter-finals, where Fermanagh take on Down in Brewster Park at 4pm (BBC), while Mayo travel to Carrick-on-Shannon to face Leitrim at 4.30pm (GAA+).
