Saeed bin Suroor has lauded the skills of Oisin Murphy, who will be crowned champion jockey for a fifth time on Saturday at Ascot.
Murphy has been on board the Newmarket-based trainer’s three biggest winners this season, Arabian Story in the Britannia at Royal Ascot, Tornado Alert’s Group One victory in Germany and Dubai Treasure’s Listed success on Saturday.
Bin Suroor also provided Murphy with one of his only two British Classic successes so far, when Mawj won the 1000 Guineas in 2023.
“Oisin is different class. He always gives the horse the best possible chance in the race,” said Bin Suroor.
“He’s already been champion four times before this year and he is amongst the best jockeys in the world now.
“He’s definitely the best riding in England. He rides his horses so professionally and gives them every chance to win.
“The feedback he gives after he has ridden one is always so thorough, you learn more about a horse after he has ridden it. He’s a good judge.
“I think Oisin, Frankie (Dettori) and Christophe (Soumillon) are the three best jockeys to have ridden for me, they are the best judges.
“Oisin is only 30, he could have 15 years or more left yet.”
