Charlie McGlynn, Cloghan 

The death has occurred of Charlie McGlynn, (Reelin Bar) Garvan, Cloghan, F93 X7H7 at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny.

Charlie is survived by his wife Rose, daughter Ann, sons, Joe, Jim, Adrian, Cathal and Martin; grandchildren Jodie, Kaine, Luke, James, Shauna, Joel and Aron. Charlie's close friend John Farley, neighbours and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence. Rosary nightly at 9pm. Family time from 10pm to 11am, and on morning of the Funeral. Requiem Mass can be viewed on the parish Webcam.

Requiem Mass Saturday at 11am in Our Lady of Perpetaul Seccour, Glenfin, with interment afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery, Glenfin.

Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice to any family member or Marley Funeral Directors.

Betty Graham, St Johnston

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Susan Elizabeth known as Betty Graham, Ardagh, St Johnston.

Beloved wife of Matthew, devoted mother to son William, daughter Audrey, son-in-law Paul and grandchildren Cameron and Sarah. Much loved sister of Ann, Kathleen, Eileen and brother Andy.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from there on Friday at 1.15pm for 2pm funeral service in St Johnston Presbyterian Church with burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to St Johnston Presbyterian Church C/o James Fleming or Terence Mc Clintock, Funeral Director, Convoy.

Kevin Fallon, Manorcunningham and Sligo

The sudden death has occurred of Kevin Fallon, Manorcunningham and formerly of Geevagh, County Sligo.

Predeceased by his parents James and Aggie Fallon, brothers Pat and Jimmy, Kevin will be sadly missed by his sons Martin and Kevin and their partners, daughter Katlyn, grandchildren Anna, Kayla and Ava, brothers Michael, Vinnie, Thomas, Martin, and Gerry, sisters, Maureen Cooney, Ann Mohan, and Kathleen Fallon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

His remains will repose at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm.

Removal to St Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, on Saturday morning, arriving for celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with interment afterwards in Corrig Cemetery.

Mourners and those offering condolences are asked to be mindful of the current concerns regarding Covid-19 and the flu virus.

Anna Friel, Letterkenny

The death has taken place peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, of Anna Friel (née Dunleavy), Mountain View, Letterkenny and formerly of Drogheda.

Deeply missed by her husband Hugo (Araheera, Fanad) her sister Rose McElwaine (Rinmore, Fanad), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours

Anna is predeceased by her parents Delia and Ambrose, sisters Caroline and Margaret and brother Francis

Her remains will repose at her home at Mountain View, Letterkenny (F92 K6D8) from 2pm on Thursday. Family time please from 10pm to 11am.

Removal from there on Saturday for 11am Requiem Mass at St Mary's Church, Fanavolty, Fanad followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard, rosary at 8pm on both nights.

Brendan O'Donnell, Dublin and Manorcunningham  

The death has occurred of Brendan O'Donnell, Manorcunningham, and Lucan, Glenageary, County Dublin.

Beloved and cherished by his wife, Valerie and son, Eoin, he will be profoundly missed. Also lovingly remembered by his son, Brian, his daughters Mary and Nuala, his granddaughter, Petra; his brothers Eugene and Aidan, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Fondly remembered by former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture and by a wide circle of relatives, friends and neighbours.

In accordance with Brendan's wishes, his body has been donated to medical science. Consequently there will be no funeral. An occasion to celebrate Brendan's life will be held in the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Co. Dublin at 2pm on Saturday.

If desired, donations can be made to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Margaret Boyle, Ballyshannon 

The death has occurred peacefully at the Northwest Hospice, of Margaret (Peg) Boyle (née Molony), Ballyshannon.
 
Predeceased by her husband Vincent, son Kevin, and sisters Kathleen, Mary, Nancy, and brother Jim. Peg will be forever remembered by her daughters Kathleen, Ita and Marie, son Conor, daughter in Law Marie and son-in-law Barry. Much loved by her grandchildren Niamh, Kevin, Colm, Sarah, David, Meave, Tara and Ethan. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
 
Her remains are reposing at her last residence on Thursday from 2pm to 6pm with house private at all other times.
 
Removal from her late residence on Friday at 10.45am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.
 
Donations in lieu of flowers to the Northwest Hospice, The Mall, Sligo c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon or any family member.

Josie McMullin, Donegal Town

The death has occurred at Donegal Community Hospital of Josie McMullin, Meenadreen, Donegal Town.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick and son Patrick, she will be greatly missed by her sons Denis (Ann), Frank (Marie) and Donal (Paula) and all her relatives, neighbours and friends.  

Her remains are reposing at the residence of her son Denis in Meenadreen (F94V0N2).

Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Agatha's Church, Clar with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Eileen Daniels, Glencolmcille, Teelin and Boston

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Eileen Daniels (née Byrne), 49 Fr McDyer Terrace, Cashel, Glenclomcille and formerly of Aghera, Teelin and Boston, Massachusetts.
 
Predeceased by her late husband Frank, her parents, Mary Anne and James, her sisters, Mary and Kathleen, brothers Jimmy and Paddy, she is sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains reposed overnight at St Columba's Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed by Margaret Rose Cunningham at https://www.facebook.com/ margaret.r.cunningham 

Patrick McLaughlin, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick McLaughlin, Carrowblagh, Glentogher, Carndonagh.

His remains reposed overnight at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Winnie Clinton, Fanad

The death has occurred of Winnie Clinton, Lagboy, Tamney, Fanad, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her brothers James and Johnny, sisters Annie Clinton, Grace O’Neill (Cookstown) and nephew Harry O’Neill. Sadly missed by all her nephews and nieces, her extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Winnie’s remains are reposing at her late residence.

Removal from there at 10.30am on Thursday arriving at St Columba’s Church, Massmount for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Mass can be viewed live via the St Mary's Fanavolty and St Columba's Massmount Facebook page

Pat Rodden, Buncrana

The death has taken place of Pat Rodden, Ballyannan, Linsfort, Buncrana.

Beloved husband of Andrea, loving father of Niall, Pearse, Ciaran and Patrick, dear son of the late Archie and Winnie, loving brother of Sheila (Gallagher), Archie, Mary-Ann (Hanway), John, James, Kevin and Paul. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Funeral leaving his home on Thursday at 11.15am to Star Of The Sea Church, Desertegney for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Hackett, Carlow and Derrybeg

The death has occurred of Mary Hackett (née Murphy), Ardough, Bilboa, Carlow and formerly of Dundrum, Dublin, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her son’s residence, An Bun Beag, Dún na nGall.

Beloved wife of Bart, much loved mother of Sheila and Niall, adored grandmother of Étaín, Donnfhlaith, Muireann, Maiú and Reuben cherished sister of Martin, Maurice, Bridie, Kay, Hannah, Sue and the late Bob, much loved daughter of the late Maurice and Molly. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Máire and Dawn, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her many nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.  

Removal from Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Carlow on Thursday at 10.30am to The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mayo, Co Laois, arriving for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
