Donegal's Caolan McColgan is one of this week's GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees, alongside Roscommon's Niall Daly, and Meath's Shane Walsh are this week’s .

Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin's McColgan, who struck three points from play, announced his arrival on the inter-county stage with a hugely impressive, all action display as Donegal defeated Kerry in Ballybofey on a 0-13 to 1-9 scoreline.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, January 31, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie. The voting process is simple: vote on their image on the story on the GAA's official Instagram page. Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers.

McColgan's man of the match performance also meant he was selected on the GAA.ie Team of the Week.

McColgan was making his first Allianz League start for Donegal, who take on Tyrone at Healy Park on Sunday,
