It was all too easy for home side Burt in a pretty one-sided encounter against Aodh Ruadh at Hibernian Park.

The eventual winners led by 2-10 to 0-3 at the break. Their goals came from the free scoring duo of Ciaran Bradley and Kieran Brady.
Points from Ciaran Curran, Brady and Caolan McDermott pushed Burt to a 0-3 to 0-1 lead by the 15th minute in a reasonably well contested opening quarter.
Aodh Ruadh’s point came from Martin Larkin. But the floodgates gradually opened in the 16th minute when Bradley found the net. Further points from Bradley and Brady eased Burt into a 1-6 to 0-1 lead.
Burt then had further points from Bradley, Brady, Ciaran Porter and Curran as Ballyshannn replied with points from Aaron Horan and Ryan O’Brien. But a Kieran Brady goal made it 2-10 to 0-3 at half-time.
Burt added on four more goals from Bradley, Brady and Lee Doherty completed the win. Bradly and Brady and Jack Gallagher also landed further points. Aodh Ruadh had points from Horan, Larkin, Kyle McNulty and Paul Cassidy.
