Gerard Glackin, Bree, Malin Head
The death has occurred of Gerard Glackin, Bree, Malin Head.
His remains are reposing at his late home.
Removal from there on Saturday at 1.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin for Requiem Mass at 2pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
House open to all from 2pm to 10pm each day.
No flowers please, donations if desired to Diabetic Ireland care of any family member.
Kathleen ‘Katie’ McGee, nee Sweeney, Leigland, Drumkeen
The death has occurred of Kathleen ‘Katie’ McGee, nee Sweeney, Leigland, Drumkeen.
Her remains will repose at Terence McClintock’s funeral home at Ballyboe, Convoy F93WF54 from 5pm – 9pm Friday May 12th.
Rosary each night at 9pm.
Funeral leaving from there on Saturday May 13th at 12.30pm for 1pm for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Drumkeen followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to the Oncology Unit Letterkenny University hospital care of Terence McClintock funeral director.
Vera Cunningham, Dublin and Carrick
The death has occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at the Nephin Road Nursing home, of Vera Cunningham (née Fitzpatrick), Phoniex Ave, Castleknock, Dublin and formerly of Carrick.
Predeceased by her loving husband Enda, loving mother to Eugenie, Enda, Niamh, David and Aisling, she will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law, Barry and Donald, daughter-in-law Eileen, David’s Partner, Joanne, her grandchildren Carey, David, Shauna, Ellen, Emma, Allanah, Carragh & Orla, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Her remains are reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown, on Friday from 11am to 1pm. Removal from there to her late residence in Carrick to arrive at 6pm to repose until 9pm. House private after 9pm and on the morning of the Funeral.
Removal to St Columba’s Church in Carrick on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St Francis Hospice, care of Curran’s Funeral Services or any Family member.
Margaret Harley, Navan and Glenswilly
The death has occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and the exceptional caring staff of the ICU, Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan, of Margaret Harley (née Boyle) Chestnut Grove, Beaufort Place, Navan, Meath and formerly of Glenswilly.
Predeceased by her husband Timothy and parents John and Rita, Margaret will be very sadly missed by her loving son Michael, grandson Jordan and his partner Louise, great-granddaughter Shónagh, brothers Patrick, Edward, John and James (Donegal) and sisters Kathleen and Eileen (Donegal), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and her good friend and carer Teresa.
Her remains are reposing at St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Friday from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Funeral arriving to St Oliver’s Church, Blackcastle, Navan on Saturday afternoon for Mass at 3pm. Burial will take place afterwards in St Finian’s Cemetery, Old Athboy Road, Navan.
Ned Boyce, Downings
The death of Edward (Ned) Boyce has taken place of formerly of Pier Road, Downings.
Edward left Donegal in the 1940s and worked on the Hydro Dams in Scotland, Australia and the UK. He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren and all his family and friends in Ireland and the UK.
Funeral will take place at St Sebastian and St Pancras Church, Diocese of Westminster, London in the coming weeks.
