Liverpool legend James Milner checks out Ballyliffin

One of the most decorated players in English football, James Milner, spent time in Donegal this week at Ballyliffin House and Tess Rose Spa and Ballyliffin Golf Club

Liverpool legend James Milner enjoyed a break in Donegal before his upcoming move to Brighton.

Milner spent some time at the Ballyliffin House and Tess Rose Spa this week, where he also enjoyed his time at Ballyliffin Golf Club, which hosted the 2018 Irish Open.

“It was a pleasure to welcome Liverpool FC legend James Milner who stayed with us for a number of nights this week,” read a post from Ballyliffin TownHouse Boutique Hotel & Spa. “We are delighted that he choose The 4 Star Ballyliffin House & Tess Rose Spa as his base where he played the world-famous Ballyliffin Golf Club.”

Milner, 37, spent eight seasons at Liverpool where he won the Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, Uefa Super Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.

Previously, he was with Manchester City from 2010 to 2015, winning two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and League Cup, and also played for Leeds United, Swindon Town on loan, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, as well as winning 61 England caps between 2009 and 2016. Milner will join Brighton on July 1.
