Liam Mc Glinchey, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at Galway University Hospital, of Liam McGlinchey, Admiran, Stranorlar, F93 K37K.

Beloved husband of Rose and much loved father of Hugh, Roisin, John, Clare, Michael, Conor, cherished brother of Peggy (Margaret) London) and the late Joseph, Dolly (Sarah) and Connie,(Conal).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sister, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence on Saturday, November 18 from 10am.

Funeral leaving from there on Sunday morning, November 19th at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar. Interment in Drumboe cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the Parish Webcam at https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar.

Family time from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

John McCloskey, Inch Island and Derry 

The death has occurred at the Foyle Hospice of John McCloskey, Grange, Inch Island and formerly Rossdowney Park, Derry.

Beloved husband of Siobhan; loving father of Mairead and Roisin; dear brother of Michael, Francis and Anne; father-in-law of Tony and much loved grandfather of Sorcha, Niamh and Sinead. Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers, his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

John's remains are reposing at his home. Family time please from 11pm to 11am.

Removal from his home on Saturday afternoon at 1.15pm going to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed on YouTube Parish of Fahan.

Tony McGroary, Frosses

The death has occurred peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, of James A McGroary, known as Tony, Ballymachill, Frosses, F94T3Y6.

Predeceased by his son Seamus, he is sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, sons Donall Martin and John, daughter Caitriona, daughters-in-law, son-in-law and grandchildren, brothers Denis and Joe, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephew, godchildren, wide circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his family home F94T3Y6 on Thursday from 6pm to 9pm and on Friday from 12 noon until 9pm.

Maire Mc Nulty, Kilcar

The death has taken place of Maire McNutly, Kilcausey.

Her remains are reposing at her home. 

Removal from her home Saturday at 10.30am for Funeral Mass in St Cartha's Church, Kilcar at 11am followed by interment in Kilcar Cemetery.

Lily Rodgers, Newtowncunningham

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Elizabeth (Lily) Rodgers née Callaghan, Castleforward, Newtowncunningham F93 KX52.

Deeply missed by her loving family Liam, Shaun, Daniel, Mary, Dominic, Patrick, Joan, Madeline and Damian, sisters Mary, Margaret and Teresa, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Lily is predeceased by her husband Anton, her brothers and sisters, and grandchildren Natasha, Michael, Danielle.

Lily’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday from 6pm and from 12pm on Friday, with Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time after the Rosary please and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 11.30am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 12 noon Requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Margaret Wasylko, Chicago and Donegal Town

The death has taken place of Margaret Wasylko, née Diver, of Chicago and formerly of Doonan, Donegal Town. 

Predeceased by her parents, Mary and John, and her brother Eamonn. she is sadly missed and always remembered by her husband John, son Paul, daughters Séana and Elaine, grand children Grace, Tom and Leah, brothers and sisters Sean, Paddy, Charlie, Patricia, Paul, Ciaran and Mark, and a large circle of family and friends.

A Mass for the repose of Margaret’s soul will take place on Saturday at 7pm in St Mary’s Church, Killymard and interment of ashes will take place at a later date.

Collie McCrea, Donegal Town

The death has occurred peacefully in Donegal Community Hospital of Connell (Collie) McCrea, Tullycullion, Donegal Town, F94 DT7X.

Loving husband to Gertrude, Father to Anthony (Sarah Mac Evilly, Westport), Carmel (Dermot Kelly, Westport), Maeve. Grandfather to Cassie and Harry and extended family.

Connell’s remains will repose at his late residence in Tullycullion, Donegal Town on Friday from 2pm until 8pm with removal to St Patrick’s Church for 8.30pm.

Funeral mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town at 11am on Saturday with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Graveyard.

Sadie Russell, Lifford and Gaoth Dobhair

The death has occurred in Letterkenny University Hospital of Sadie Russell, née Nic Suibhne, 8 Ballyduff Park, Lifford, F93 A6CD and formerly Gaoth Dobhair. Sadie passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family.

She is deeply missed by her husband Joe, daughters and sons Martina, Joe, Sheila, Georgina, Liam, Nollaig, Siobhan, Zara, James and Katie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and all her extended family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence 8 Ballyduff Park F93 A6CD on Thursday until 10pm and Friday from 11am to 10pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Jim Doherty, Annagry

The death occurred at the Donegal Hospice, of James Doherty, Culacrick, Annagry, F94 C5K0, originally of Glasgow.

Predeceased by his parents Dan and Sarah Doherty. Sadly missed by his wife Sheila, daughter Annemarie and her partner Barry, son Neil, grandson Jamie, sister Anne Finn and her husband Peter, brother Neil Doherty and his partner Anne and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty's Funeral Home, Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) on Thursday from 2pm until Rosary time at 8pm. Removal afterwards to the family home in Culacrick. House private to family, neighbours and friends only.

Robert Hegarty, Inch Island

The death has occurred at Altnagelvin Hospital of Robert Hegarty, Baylett, Inch Island.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at his home. Family time please from 11pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral. 

Removal from his home on Saturday morning at 10.15am going to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Inch Island for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem mass can be viewed on YouTube, Parish of Fahan.

Martin Travers, Donegal Town

The death has occurred peacefully of Martin Travers, Finadoose, Donegal PO, Donegal at Donegal Community Hospital, Donegal Town.

Much loved husband of Rosie, father of Enda (Dearbhla), Shane (Andrea), Cahill, Aoife, (Tommie) and Grainne. Sadly missed by his brothers Joseph, Liam (Nora), Eamon (Rita), Brian (Vivienne), sisters Mary (Lexi) and Noreen (Michael), grandchildren, Tom, Ollie, Bobby and Lilly, as well as extended family and friends. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11am in St Agatha’s Church, Clar with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
