Inishowen passport holders urged to check expiry date

‘Every year come May and June I receive last-minute calls for help on passports’

Passport panic - Donegal TDs office is "struggling with an unresponsive passport service"

Passport holders have been asked to check expiry date in the new year

Passport holders in Inishowen have been urged to check when their passports expire.

Independent councillor Nicholas Crossan made the call, saying the new year is a good time for people to check their passports.

“Every year come May and June I receive last-minute calls for help on passports,”the Buncrana councillor said.

“In so many cases people planning to travel have left it too late.I would encourage anyone who is considering travelling to check that their passport is in date, and if they need to renew their passport or apply for the first time, to use Passport Online. This is the quickest, easiest, and most cost-effective way to apply for your passport.”
