Donegal has named an unchanged side from their drawn match with Monaghan almost two weeks ago for their upcoming battle with Tyrone this Sunday in Ballybofey (throw-in at 2pm).

John McNulty’s side and Tyrone are both genuine promotion hopefuls with Donegal hoping to overtake The Red Hand County on the league table by pushing their way into second place.

Tyrone currently stands second in the league on 10 points while Donegal sits behind them in third place on seven points and go into this game at MacCumhaill Park off the back of two wins, one draw and a defeat, five behind pace-setters Kildare in first position.

Tyrone also drew last time out against Laois and the winners here will give their promotion hopes a massive shot in the arm.

Tipperary and Cavan, who Donegal still have to play in their closing two games, are on six points each, Westmeath are on three, and Monaghan and Laois complete the table on one apiece.

Donegal: Clare Friel; Shannon McLaughlin, Abigal Temple Asokuh, Evelyn McGinley; Caoimhe Keon, Nicole Gordon, Tara Hegarty; Roisin Rodgers, Niamh Boyle; Jodie McFadden, Niamh McLaughlin (capt), Katie Long; Suzanne White, Katy Herron, Amy Boyle Carr.
