Inishowen man raises €2,000 for charity by auction of tools

An Inishowen man has raised €2,000 for the charity iCARE by auctioning his personal collection of tools.

Francis Harrigan donated the funds raised from the auction to iCARE’s iADULT day service.

A subsidiary of iCARE, iADULT is dedicated to adult education and empowerment.

The donation will be used to facilitate a summer programme including a residential for the iADULT service users which will provide independent living skills and opportunities resulting in a positive impact to the young adults. The iCARE management team thanked Mr Harrigan for his invaluable support.
