Matthew McCole has picked up a bronze medal as part of the Ulster High-Performance group that competed in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The Dungloe man, who boxes out of Illies Golden Gloves, was one of six fighters selected from around the province.
In his first bout, McCole just about seen off Armenia’s Narek Zakharyan Narek on a score of 3-2.
However, in his second outing, the semi-final juncture, McCole just found the going too tough against Ukraine’s Maksym Molodan, who had his hand raised on a unanimous scorecard of 5-0.
