Met Éireann hasn't ruled out morning hail or even thunderstorms as Donegal looks set for a wintry Monday.
Cool and windy today with a mix of sunny spells and showers. Some showers will turn heavy with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms during the morning. More prolonged showers will develop towards evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees but feeling colder in fresh to strong and gusty west to northwest winds, stronger along coasts.
Scattered showers and clear spells tonight, with showers becoming more isolated later. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees with fresh northwesterly winds easing moderate overnight.
Mainly dry tomorrow morning with sunny spells and isolated showers. Further scattered showers will spread from the northwest through the afternoon before clearing in the evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh northwest winds.
