Declan Lynch has announced his arrival as Aileach FC's new manager with a trio of stellar signings – including the return of former Derry City star Gareth McGlynn.
Lynch joins the Lakeside outfit having been head coach of the U20 and reserve teams at Irish League club Glentoran.
The Derry native, who had a spell as a player at Bonagee United in the Ulster Senior League, has recruited McGlynn, Shane McMonagle and Darren McMonagle.
McGlynn played 378 times and scored 43 goals for Derry City having played for 12 seasons in the Candystripes.
McGlynn won two FAI Cups and won the League Cup five times. The 41-year-old played when Aileach last won the Jackie Crossan Premier Division in 2020 and returns to bolster Lynch's hand at the club for the 2024/25 season.
Darren McMonagle is back from a successful season at Strabane Athletic while Shane McMonagle rejoins having left Finn Harps recently.
Luke McCorkill has been unveiled as Lynch's assistant manager.
Last season, Aileach, managed by Stephen Harley, were fifth in the Premier Division.
