Buncrana Parish and Inish Theatre Group announce €75,000 mega draw for community projects

In an exciting collaboration, Buncrana Parish and the Inish Theatre Group are thrilled to announce the launch of a remarkable €75,000 Mega Draw. This fundraising initiative is set to bring substantial benefits to the community, with a first prize of €50,000 up for grabs.

Proceeds from the draw will be dedicated to essential works on the parish churches and significant upgrades to St. Mary’s Hall. The funds will particularly address the need for a new roof and other critical improvements to ensure the hall continues to serve the community effectively.

“This draw represents a significant opportunity for our community, not only for those who participate but for the wider benefits it will bring to our parish infrastructure,” said a representative from Inish Theatre Group.

“We encourage everyone to get involved, as every ticket sold will contribute to much-needed renovations that will benefit all of us.”

Tickets will cost €100 per ticket, however payment plans are available to make participation easier for everyone. The draw will take place at the Garden Fete in 2025.

To purchase tickets, community members can visit the Parish Office, or contact draw promoters directly. This is a unique chance to support local heritage while also standing a chance to win fantastic prizes.

People can contact the parish office on 074 936 1253 or email buncranaparish@gmail.com.

Buncrana Parish has been a cornerstone of the community, providing spiritual guidance and community services for decades. The funds raised from this Mega Draw will ensure that the parish continues to meet the needs of the community for years to come.

The Inish Theatre Group has been a vibrant part of Buncrana’s cultural scene, known for its dedication to promoting the arts and fostering community spirit through theatre.
