Cockhill Celtic 1-1 Clonmany Shamrocks
The visitors shocked the home side when they opened the scoring after two minutes when, after hesitation in the Cockhill defence, Terence Doherty advanced to drill low past Daniel Houghton.
Within minutes Cockhill had a great chance from a James Bradley cross but Garbhan Friel headed wide from eight yards. Then in the 20th minute, Fionn McClure's cross was flicked on by Damian Duffy but Zach Conlon gathered just before Jack Mullan was able to apply a touch.
Clonmany almost got a second midway through the half after a good run and cross by Doherty down the right saw a time effort from Shane McFaul hit the bar.
The home side replied with a Brendan McLaughlin cross which found its way to Lee McLaughlin at the back post. He controlled well but fired into the side netting before a Bradley shot from the edge of the box was gathered at second attempt by Conlon.
Cockhill equalised then following a Jack Mullan left-wing corner which Friel rose highest to power a header past Conlon from six yards.
The second half started with both teams cancelling each other out. Clonmany had the first chance when a free kick from deep was headed wide by McFaul.
On the hour Clonmany broke away with Aaron Porter being released on the right but he chose to cross when well placed to shoot and the chance was gone.
Great holdup play by Friel then released Corey McBride whose floated cross was headed wide by Friel who had to generate the power on it. Minutes later they went close again when a cross from the right fell to Christy McLaughlin at the edge of the box but his volley was narrowly wide.
Cockhill had the lion's share of possession in the remaining minutes but were unable to fashion a clear chance with a Stephen Duffy shot was blocked. The last chance arrived in injury time with a Bradley cross headed against the bar by Duffy.
Greencastle 1-3 FC Illies Celtic
Illies began the game on the front foot with both Jamie McDaid and Ethan Doherty denied by good saves from William O’Carroll in the home goal.
Illies opened the scoring on 14 minutes after a long clearance found its way to Paul Duffy whose driven low cross slotted home by McDaid from six yards. But the home side equalised within minutes with an inswinging Michael Henry free powerfully headed to the net by David Henry.
The home side had a good spell then with Shea McLaughlin denied by Johnathan Noone before Ben Quigley fired over the top. Illies responded before the interval and Oran Doherty blazed over before McDaid raced clear of the home defence only to fail to control the ball, allowing O’Carroll to gather.
The visitors were quick to start on the resumption with Duffy and McDaid both off target. At the other end, a Henry cross was volleyed into the side netting by Harkin. Illies gradually got on top and McDaid was denied by a superb save from O’Carroll before Adrian Donaghey-Doherty headed a Duffy free-kick wide.
Illies then regained the lead on 78 minutes when Paul Doherty sent McDaid clear to beat the offside trap before shooting left-footed past O’Carroll. In a replica move a minute later McDaid again raced clear of the home defence before drilling low to the net to complete his hat-trick.
In the closing stages, Henry saw a free saved by Noone before Harkin had an effort blocked by the Illies defence.

Culdaff missed a great chance to go ahead on 12 minutes when Noel McLaughlin’s pass from midfield released Jack O’Brien who went one-on-one with Daniel McDaid but his shot was parried past the post by McDaid.
Carn broke the deadlock then when Jamie Doherty broke on the right wing and squared it for Cade Cooke who drove a powerful shot to the top right corner of the net from 25 yards.
The visitors responded midway through the half after an Aiden Cunningham free kick from outside the 18-yard box went off the defender and to the right of the goal but was well tidied up by McDaid.

QPS started the second half with more purpose and after Josh Mclaughlin had a superb effort well saved by Ben Miller the rebound fell to Murray who somehow failed to score with the goal gaping.
