General Election: Kim McMenamin, Nuala Carr and Carol Gallagher eliminated

Counting is continuing in the Donegal constituency

Three more candidates have been eliminated from the general election race in Donegal as counting continues.

Kim McMenamin of The Irish People Party was eliminated on the eighth count.

His 621 votes were distributed on the ninth count which saw the elimination of Nuala Carr of The Green Party (931 votes) and Carol Gallagher of People Before Profit-Solidarity (707 votes).

Their combined votes of 1,638 were distributed on the tenth count.
