Death notices for Donegal on Tuesday evening

Leila Speer, née Patterson, Ramelton and Canada
The death has taken place in Vancouver, Canada of Leila Speer, née Patterson, wife of the late William Speer, formerly of Cashelshanaghan, Ramelton.
Daughter of the late Samuel John and Isa Patterson. Predeceased by her sisters Sadie Mitchell and Millie Mitchell also her brother Jim Patterson.; lovingly remembered by her son Ren, daughter-in-law Marilyn, grandson Brendan and Danna. Cherished sister of Isabel Hanna (Armagh), brother Mervyn Patterson and his wife Zoe (Portstewart), brother Winston Patterson and his wife Cynthia (Ballindrait) and sister-in-law Wendy, wife of the late Jim Patterson (Castlefin).
A service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place in Donoughmore Presbyterian Church, Castlefinn, F93 DK40 on Sunday, February 9 at 2.30pm.
Jim Caulfield, Doochary
The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Jim Caulfield, Coolvoy, Doochary, F94K6Y0.
Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Hannah and his children, Maureen, Patrick, Geraldine, Martin, and Shaun, his sons-in-law John McDevitt and Peter Doherty, daughters-in-law Tina, Michelle and Heather, and all his beloved grandchildren.
His remains are reposing at his home in Doochary, with Rosary at 8pm. House private please after the Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral on Wednesday at 12 noon in St Conal's Church Doochary with interment in Boyoughter Cemetery.
Francie Kelly, Ballybofey
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital peacefully of Francie Kelly Trusk, Ballybofey, F93 NP7W.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Máire, adored father to his daughters, Diane, Pamela (Philip), Charlene (Thomas) and his only son Francis (Siobhan). Forever loved by his grandchildren Ava-Rose, Ryan, Thomas & Darragh. His sisters Rose (Frank) and Ann and his brothers-in-law Joseph and Padraig (Liz) and his nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Francie is predeceased by his parents Charlie and Mary.
His remains will repose at his home. Due to the limited parking, a shuttle bus will be in operation from 3pm on Tuesday from the car park at Sessiaghoneill Chapel. Rosary is at 9pm with family time from 11pm until 11 amand on the morning of the funeral please.
Requiem Mass in St Mary's, Sessiaghoneill on Wednesday at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live here
Flowers welcome, donations in lieu if so desired to The Patients Comfort Fund, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o McGowan’s Funeral Home, Stranorlar or any family member.
Roy Beattie, Castlefin
The death has taken place in Hillcrest nursing home of Robert John Beattie known as Roy, Lower Donaghmore, Castlefinn.
Beloved husband of Betty, much loved father of son Robert (Cathy) and daughter Kate. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Kathleen and June.
Family home private please at the request of the deceased. Removal on Tuesday at 2pm going to St Patrick’s Church Donoughmore to repose overnight.
Funeral service on Wednesday at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to St Patrick’s Church Donoughmore care of any family member or Terence McClintock funeral director.
