Carndonagh native Cache Crumlish
Derry City FC Women have announced the signing of Donegal native and forward Cache Crumlish from Sion Swifts.
At just 16, Crumlish was honoured as the Northern Ireland Women's Football Association (NIWFA) Championship Player of the Season in 2024, following a standout season where she played a pivotal role in Sion Swifts' league and cup double triumph.
Hailing from Carndonagh, Crumlish began her football journey with Carndonagh FC before moving to Sion Swifts in 2022. Her tenure at Sion Swifts was marked by remarkable performances, including multiple hat-tricks for the U-19 team.

Notably, she netted three consecutive hat-tricks in 2022, showcasing her goal-scoring prowess.
Crumlish's talent has also been recognised on the international stage. In 2022, she was selected for the Republic of Ireland U-15 Schools team to compete in the Bob Docherty Cup, highlighting her potential at a young age.
Expressing enthusiasm about the new addition, Derry City FC Women stated: "We are delighted to announce the signing of Cache Crumlish from Sion Swifts. Fresh off winning the Championship Player Of The Season award last year at just 16 years of age, Cache provides another option for us in an already youthful frontline."
Crumlish participated in her first training session with Derry City FC Women on Monday night.
