Generous Tony McBrearty's 60th raises €11,750 for McCrossan family charity

Tony McBrearty's 60th in St Johnston raises  €11,750 for McCrossan family charity

Tony McBrearty from St Johnston turned 60, and at his birthday party in Maggie's Tavern, he raised €11,750 for the McCrossan family, who are currently in the Netherlands receiving special medical treatment.   

This money will very much help this family's medical bills. Tony thanked everyone for both attending his party and their generous donations, which will greatly help the McCrossans.  

Zach McCrossan, also from from St Johnston, was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder, a high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that progresses to acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and underwent a stem cell transplant at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht, Netherlands in June. Zach’s mum Patrice was diagnosed with AML just a year earlier.
