Denis Dunnion, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Denis Dunnion, Railway Park, Donegal Town, peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Cath, sons, daughters, son-in-laws, daughter-in-law, his beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters extended family, neighbours and friends.

Denis’s remains will repose in Tír Conaíll Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A from 2pm until 9pm on Monday, December 22.

Denis’s funeral mass will be in St Mary’s Church Killymard at 11am on Tuesday with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Solace Centre Donegal Town care of Faulkner Funeral Directors or any family members.

House strictly private please.

Regina Crumlish, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Regina Crumlish (nee McGinley) in Wigan, England, on December 13, 2025.

Regina will be sadly missed by her husband, Patrick; her daughters, Matilda, Annabelle, and Mary; her sons, Alex and Paddy; her parents, Hughie and Ann McGinley; her sisters, Mary and Melissa; and her brothers, Willie, Hughie, Michael, and Tommy.

Regina’s remains will repose at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Ballyshannon, from 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 21, until removal at 5:30 pm to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, for reception prayers at 6pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, December at 11am followed by interment in Abbey Cemetery, Ballyshannon.

Geraldine Coleman, Killybegs

The death has occurred suddenly of Geraldine Coleman, 99 Emerald Drive, Killybegs, Co Donegal formerly of Lurgan, Co Armagh.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Christine Ryder and her sisters Cathy, Gemma and Anne.

Sadly missed by her husband Denny, her children Naoise, Jordan, Shea and Ciara, sisters Mary, Noelle, Carmel and Celine, brother Joe, grandchildren Cillian and Maya, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at her residence (F94 TD34) on Sunday from 3pm to 9pm and on Monday from 12pm to 9pm. House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Removal from her residence at 10.30am on Tuesday  for 11am Funeral Mass in St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Julie Ryan, Stranorlar

The peaceful death has occurred under the compassionate care of the staff at Brindley Manor nursing home Convoy of Julie (Ula) Ryan (née McLaughlin), formerly 16 Admiran Park, Stranorlar.

Predeceased by her parents George and Margaret McLaughlin, her sister Kay Gallagher, and beloved husband Patrick.

Ula is survived by her children Emmett (Catherine), Sharon (Jim) Shona (Zack), Patrick (Philomena), her adored grandchildren, her sisters Julie and May and brother George.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her loving sons, daughters, brother, sisters, brothers and sisters in law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her many good neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Emmett and Catherine at Knock, Ballybofey F93 K6DY on Sunday, December 21 from 7pm to 10pm and on Monday December 22nd from 12 noon until 9pm.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar.

Interment afterwards in Drumboe cemetery.

Maria McCole, Redcastle

The death has occurred of Maria McCole, Carrickmaquigley, Redcastle F93 TN0F, peacefully at the Donegal Hospice surrounded by all her loving family.

Beloved wife of Dan and much-loved mother of Kathleen (Seamus), Mary (Páid), Patrick (Berni) and Deirdre (Gary)

Cherished granny of James, Meadhbh, Oisín, Odhrán, Codi and Tyler.

Predeceased by her sister Chrissie.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Peggy, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Maria’s remains are now reposing at her home where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Tuesday (December 23rd) at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church Drung, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Jane Greene, Redcastle

The death has occurred of Jane Greene, The Cottages, Redcastle. She passed away peacefully at the Nazareth House, Fahan.

Predeceased by her husband Joe and much-loved mother of Margaret, Jane (Peter) and Joseph (Adele).

Cherished granny of Cathal (Sarah), Jane (Stephen), Peter, Joseph, Adam, Ellen, and John and great-granny of Lucas, Ava, Riona and Lucas.

Predeceased by her infant sister Cassie, her sisters Roseann, Bridget and brother Michael.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Kate, Mary, Pat and Aggie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Jane’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN, on Sunday at 3pm going to her home (F93 RF84).

Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Drung, followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Brigid Bradley, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Brigid Bradley (née McGinley), Glencar Road, Letterkenny F92 N79E.

Peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by husband Con (2016), parents Bernard and Catherine McGinley, siblings John, Katie, Peter, Peggy, Mary, Sarah & baby Rose in infancy.

Devoted mother to son John (Mary), daughters Noreen, Kathleen Elliott (John) & Mary Doherty (Seamus).

Fondly remembered by her sister Nellie O’Brien, 9 grandchildren, extended family members, neighbours and many friends.

Brigid’s remains will repose at her late residence on Sunday, December 21 from 4pm to 10pm and again Monday at 12noon until 10pm.

Funeral from there on Tuesday afternoon going to Saint Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for requiem Mass at 1pm followed by interment in New Leck cemetery.

Vincent Tully, Ballindrait

The death has occurred of Vincent Tully, Mullanagung, Ballindrait, Lifford.

Lovingly missed by his wife Frances; his sons and daughters Paul (Mary), Martin (Bridget), Margheurite (Michael), Vincent (Lisa), Michael and Finola; his 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister‑in‑law Bridie Tully; nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.

Vincent was predeceased by his parents Martin and Mary Ellen, Cappa, Co. Galway; his daughter Mary Frances; and baby Maeve Joanette. May they all Rest in Peace.

Vincent will repose at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe, Co. Donegal, F93 KP0N, on Sunday, December 21 from 5pm to 9pm, and Monday from 5pm to 9pm, with Rosary each night at 9pm.

Eddie Gallagher, Letterkenny and Arranmore 

The death has taken place at his home of Eddie Gallagher, 27 Windmill View, Glencar, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal F92 AHE0 and formerly Arranmore.

Deeply missed by his sister Nancy Manning (Dublin), nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours in Letterkenny and Arranmore Island.

Eddie’s remains will be reposing at his late residence on Sunday, December 21 from 6pm until 10pm and on Monday from 12pm until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Mary Murphy, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Mary Murphy, East Rock, Ballyshannon.

She passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Packie. Mary will be dearly missed by her family, Keith (Mairead), Arylene, Gavin (Louise), Michelle (Dave), Cathy (Joe) and Padraig, her niece Tina and daughter Terri, her grandchildren Siobhan (RIP), Brian, Padraig, Shane, Shauna, Grace, Kerry, Eoghan, Cillian, Megan and her great grandchildren Cain, Fiadh and Arabella.

Reposing on Sunday at the residence of her Daughter Michelle and son-in-law Dave's home, Ashbrook drive, Rossnowlagh Road, Ballyshannon, F94 Y228 from 1pm to 5pm with the house private to family outside of reposing times.

Removal from her late residence, The rock, on Monday at 11.45am to arrive at St. Joseph's Church, The Rock for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon with service of interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Jimmy Wilkinson, Creeslough

The peaceful death has taken place at home of Jimmy Wilkinson, Feymore, Creeslough F92 ED30.

Predeceased by his son Jim.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen, sons Pat (Julie) and Joey, grandchildren Cory, Jason, Danny Jim, Katie, Aine and Orla and his great granddaughter Amber.

Jimmy’s remains will repose at his home from 4pm to 9pm on Saturday and 10am to 12noon on Sunday.

James Anthony Green, Quigley’s Point

The death has occurred of James Anthony Green, North Andover, Massachusetts and formerly of Drung, Quigley’s Point, suddenly on December 12, with his beloved wife by his side.

James was born in Donegal, Ireland, on December 9, 1985, the son of James and Ann Green, and the youngest brother of Michael and Majella.

He and his wife, Michelle, emigrated to Boston in July 2013, where they built a successful life together.

Above all else, James was a devoted father, soccer coach, and all-round sports enthusiast to his cherished sons, Dylan (10) and Darragh (6).

Professionally, James was a highly respected payments expert in the banking sector, most recently holding the position of Senior Manager, Operational Risk Oversight, at Discover Financial Services.

James loved all things sport – from his beloved Donegal GAA team to his lifelong support of Manchester United, as well as his passion for all Boston sports teams.

He took his greatest pride in sharing his deep knowledge and love of sport with his two sons, especially through coaching the boys’ soccer teams in North Andover.

A natural with landscaping, James lovingly crafted a beautiful yard at the family home, always happiest seeing his boys and their neighborhood friends enjoying it.

He was also a talented cook, and his meals – and the love behind them – will be forever missed by his family.

James was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 13 years, Michelle Green; his sons, Dylan and Darragh, of North Andover, Massachusetts; his parents, James and Ann Green; his brother Michael and his wife Nuala, his sister Majella, and his nieces Michaela, Aimee, Eimear, and Hannah.

He is also lovingly remembered by his in-laws, Peter and Bridie McLaughlin of Bundoran, Donegal; his sisters-in-law Karen, Megan, and Niamh, and their partners and children across Donegal, Sligo, and Tipperary; his aunts, uncles and cousins across Ireland and Glasgow, Scotland.

James will then return to his beloved Donegal, Ireland, where he will be laid to rest.

James’s remains will arrive at the Muff border on Saturday December 20 at approx 12pm to continue to his home in Drung, Quigley’s Point (F93 W5N3).

James’s remains will repose at the family home in Drung on Saturday from 4pm to 11pm and on Sunday from 11am to 11pm, where you are all welcome to pay your respects during those hours. All other times are private please including the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral from there on Monday at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Drung followed by interment in Drung cemetery.

Thomas Meehan, Raphoe

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Thomas Meehan, known as Tommy, 17 Cathedral Hill, Raphoe.

Predeceased by his parents Tommy and May and brother Don.

Tommy will be forever loved and cherished by his wife Rose, daughters Angela, Susan and Lorraine, sons Antony, Christopher and Garrett, their partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

His remains will repose at Terence McClintock’s Funeral Home at Ballyboe, Convoy (F93WF54) on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st from 3pm to 6pm, where you are welcome to call to pay your respects.

The funeral will leave from his home at 17 Cathedral Hill at on Monday at 10.30am, going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe, for Funeral Prayers at 11am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2.30pm.

Neil Gibbons, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Neil Gibbons, Ballyhallion, Clonmany F93 K688.

Loving Husband of Helen, dear father of Neil (Amanda), Kathleen (Emmet), Billy (Roseena) & Paddy (Sinéad).

Son of the late Packie and Brigid and brother of the late Liam.
