Catherine McGonagle, Glencolmcille
The death has occurred of Catherine McGonagle (née Carr), Killaned, Glencolmcille, Donegal, F94 T9T0.
She passed away peacefully in her 91st year at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Michael, her daughters Bríd and Angela, her parents, brothers Jimmy and Paddy, sisters Mary, Annie and Bridget.
Fondly remembered by her daughter Geraldine, son in law Tommy (Breslin) and adored granddaughter Saoirse, her sister Veronica (Conoghan), nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Reposing at Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara F94 A250 from 3 to 5pm this evening (Monday 2nd March), with removal to her late residence for 6pm to 9pm.
Reposing at her home from 1 to 9pm on Tuesday, March 3.
Removal from there to St Columba’s Church, Glencolmcille for 11am Requiem Mass on Wednesday March 4th, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live here.

James Slevin, Ballyshannon
The death has occurred of James Slevin, The Mall, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal F94 A6W0.
He passed peacefully in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Maureen and sadly missed by his loving family.
Survived by his children Eamonn (Anne), Paul (Christina), Brona(Sean) and Avril and his five grandchildren, Mollie, Katie, Shona, Aimee Beth and Cillian.
Reposing at his residence on Tuesday, March 3 from 2pm to 8pm. The house shall be private to family outside of reposingtimes and on the morning of the funeral.
Removal on Wednesday from his residence at 10.30am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.

Brigid Bradley, Buncrana
The peaceful death has occurred of Brigid (Bridie) Bradley at her home in England, surrounded by her family, on February 16, 2026.
Formerly of Castle Park, Buncrana.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her partner Anthony, children Siobhan and Mark, and son-in-law Paul.
Deeply regretted by her sisters and brothers Annie, Oliver (deceased), Danny, Jimmy (deceased), Mary (deceased), Norah, Lawrence, Peter, Bernadette, John and Martina, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Bridie will be reposing at her former residence, 37 Castle Park, Buncrana from 5pm on Monday, March 2.
Removal from there tomorrow, Tuesday at 6.30 pm, going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, where she will repose overnight.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11 am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Josephine Houghton, Carndonagh
The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Josephine Houghton, Corvish, Carndonagh.
Josephine is the beloved wife of John and the much-loved mother of Sean and Anne.
Predeceased by her six siblings, and a dear sister of Maureen, Alice, John, Pauline, Noeleen and Anne.
Josephine will be deeply regretted by her grandchildren Edward, Katie and Chloe, her daughter-in-law Sue, her son-in-law Paddy, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Josephine’s remains will leave Kelly’s Funeral Home on Monday, March 3 at 4:00pm, going to her late residence.
Removal from there on Wednesday at 10:30am, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart for 11:00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Requiem Mass can be viewed live on Carndonagh Parish, Derry Diocese, Ireland.
Rosary will take place at 9:00pm at the wake house on Tuesday.

The death has taken place at Dungloe Community Hospital of Rose Doherty, Magheraclogher, Bunbeg.
Predeceased by her parents, Kitty and Micí Eoghan Eoin, brothers and sisters.
Sadly missed by her daughter, Bernadette Doherty, granddaughter Shannon Doherty (Donal), great-grandchildren Dáire & Lorcan Walsh, sister Sheila (London), brothers Condy & Owen, nieces, nephews, and extended family & friends.
Her remains will repose at her home in Magheraclogher (F92 X2W9) today (Mon) from 4pm to 8pm and tomorrow from 12pm to 8pm.
Rosary nightly at 8pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Dunlewey, burial afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery.

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Elizabeth Mary (Lily) Reid, neé Kee, Bohanboy, Killygordon (F93EO44).
Predeceased by her late husband Robert.
Much loved mother of Robert (Carol), Edward (Anna), Jayne (Marcus), Andrew (Carol) and Sarah (Derek).
Lily will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Aaron (Tamara), Jordan, Dillon, Uná, Ciara, Niamh, Mark, Andrew, Lily, Emily, Rebecca, Adam, Rachel, Sean, Aimee, her sister Greta, brother William, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.
Lily will repose at her home from 6pm to 9pm on Monday, March 2 and from 2pm to 9pm on Tuesday.
Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday at 1.15pm, going to Donoughmore Presbyterian Church for 2pm Service of Thanksgiving for her life, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Daniel McCarthy, Maynooth and Bundoran
The death has occurred of Daniel McCarthy, Laurence Avenue, Maynooth and formerly of Bundoran and Newbridge, Co Kildare.
He passed away peacefully at The Residence Nursing Home, Maynooth, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his loving wife Mary, parents Paddy and Mary, brothers Padraig and Declan and sister Kathleen.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his children Ronan, Lorna and Donal, friend Pat, daughters-in-law Sam, Aline, Suzie and Mary, son-in-law Paul, adored grandchildren Jodie, Abi, Louis and Sophie, brothers Luke, Gerard, Paul and Mark, sisters Gaye, Betty and Mary, Aunt Monica, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends. Danny was the much-loved Lead Singer with Fiddlers Green and will be fondly remembered for his music, voice and friendship by all who knew him.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Thursday at approximately 10.30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at approximately 1pm.
Stephen Corbett, Buncrana
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Stephen Corbett, 9 Cockhill Road, Buncrana and formerly of Limerick City.
Loving partner of Janet Dunne and dear father of James and Robert.
Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving partner, sons, grandchildren, partner’s sons, extended family and friends.
Removal from Murphy’s Funeral Home (F93PW96) on Monday, March 2 at 5.00pm to his late residence.
Stephen’s remains will be reposing from 7.00pm, where you are all welcome to pay your respects.
Removal from there on Tuesday at 10.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by removal to Thompson’s Funeral Home, Limerick City.
