Friday will start dry with some cloud, however, a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers will develop during the morning, feeding in from the west throughout the day. 

Mostly light westerly winds will increase moderate to fresh during the afternoon. These stronger on coasts. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.

Friday night will be generally dry and clear with coastal showers, turning wintry at times, with the chance of sleet.

Rather chilly with overnight lows of 0 to 4 degrees in moderate northwest winds. Frost and icy stretches may form in places overnight.
