Club-by-Club guide to the Donegal Intermediate Championship

Cloughaneely were last year's Donegal IFC winners having lost their previous two finals and they leave behind a competition so fierce few can be confident of picking a winner. Here's the hopefuls

Dungloe
Manager: Dessie Gallagher
Last year championship: IFC finalists, defeated in a replay by Cloughaneely
This year's AFCL: Eighth in Division 2.
First two opponents: Burt away; Gaeil Fhánada home
Prospects: It has been a mixed bag so far this season for Dungloe in the league, never really in contention for promotion. That is disappointing given their championship run last year which was impressive. Can they replicate their form of last year? If they can then they will be in the mix once again, but they need to step up.
Star man: Barry Curran
