Gritters will be action as temperatures set to drop overnight

Gritters out across Donegal as temperatures drop

The unseasonably mild weather certainly seems to have come to an end, with temperatures set to drop to freezing for the second night in a row.

Donegal County Council is advising that all routes on its gritting programme will be gritted from 9pm on Wednesday and again from 6am on Thursday morning.

As always, the message is to drive with caution, and to assume that no road is ice free.
