A teenage boy has died in a tractor crash in Co Clare.
The incident took place on the R458 at Bunnahow, north of Crusheen, shortly before 2pm on Saturday.
The teenager, aged 16, was the sole occupant of the tractor.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road has been closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination is to be arranged.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly those with video footage, to come forward.
