Well-known Kildare hotel has development plans for its gate lodge

A planning application has submitted to Kildare County Council by Cranberrylane Limited trading as Killashee Hotel.

Approval is sought for a change of use of the gate lodge building from residential to office use ancillary to the Killashee Hotel.

The hotel wants to retain permission for modifications to the fenestration and facade treatment of the existing building and carry out minor internal reconfiguration of layouts.

The proposed development also comprises the addition of a dividing screen at ground floor level in the existing dining room.

Five car parking spaces are are proposed including an accessible parking space and an electrical vehicle charging point.
