Resurfacing works will take place in Monasterevin next week, Kildare County Council (KCC) has said.
Please note that road resurfacing works will be carried out at the R445 Monasterevin on Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27, 2023.
A stop/go system will be in operation for the duration of the works.
"Your co-operation is appreciated, and any inconvenience caused is regretted," KCC added.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR VEHICLES UNDER 3.5T
Westbound Traffic – At the Junction of the R445/L3009 (Barraderra Crossroads) turn right onto the L3009 and head in a westbound direction to the T Junction of the L3009/R414 (Ferns Railway Bridge).
Turn left onto the R414 towards Monasterevin for 0.6km, to the junction of R414/L7059 (Cowpasture Crossroads) turn left onto L7059, finishing at the junction of R445/L5079 (New Lodge Crossroads)
Eastbound Traffic – At the junction of the R445/L7059 (New Lodge Crossroads) turn onto the L7059 travelling in a Westbound direction to the Junction of L5059/R414 (Cowpasture Crossroads).
Turn right onto the R414 and head northbound, to the junction of R414/L3009 (Ferns Railway Bridge) turn right onto the L3009 finishing at the junction of the L3009/R445 (Barraderra Crossroads)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FOR VEHICLES OVER 3.5T
Southbound Traffic – Exit the R445 and enter the M7 motorway at Junction 14 (Mayfield).
Head in a southbound direction and exit the M7 at junction 15 (Ballybrittas).
Travel onto the R445 in a north/eastbound direction, passing through Ballybrittas and into Monasterevin, finishing at the junction of R445/L5079 (New Lodge Crossroads).
Northbound Traffic – Head out of Monasterevin in a Southbound direction on the R445 passing through Ballybrittas and entering the M7 motorway at Junction 15.
On the M7 head in a northbound direction and exit the M7 motorway at Junction 14 (Mayfield) finishing back on the R445.
