RIP to the late Benjamin Briscoe, Frank Conlon and John Curran.

The death has occurred of Benjamin Briscoe

Celbridge, Kildare.

Ben passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Connolly Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Beloved husband of Carol, loving father to Andrew, Rachel, Vivienne and David and much beloved by his nephews David and Daniel, sister-in-law Debbie, their families and extended family here and abroad and his many friends.

Funeral was held on Wednesday July 12, at the Dublin Jewish Progressive Synagogue at 1.30pm, 7 Leicester Ave, Rathmines, Dublin 6, D06 H277, and was followed by burial at Woodtown Cemetery, Oldcourt Road, Woodtown, Rathfarnham, County Dublin.

The death has occurred of Frank Conlon

Shankill, Dublin / Dublin 8, Dublin / Newbridge, Kildare.

Died peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the wonderful care of the Beacon Hospital, Sandyford.

He will be dearly missed by his loving daughter Lily, partner Siobhán, sister Anne, brothers Jim and Michael, sisters-in-law Catherine and Frances, Siobhán’s daughters Ciara and Aoife, Lily’s partner Mike, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends. 

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow on Friday (July 14) from 4pm - 6pm.

Funeral Service on Saturday (July 15) at 3.15pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.

The service may also be viewed online at mountjerome.ie.

Donations, in lieu of flowers and in memory of Frank, to Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services and Purple House Cancer Support.

The death has occurred of John Curran

Celbridge, Kildare / Aughavas, Leitrim.

Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge, County Kildare and The Woodlands, Castletown Estate, Celbridge, County Kildare, formerly of Wembley, London and Carrickavoher, Aughavas, County Leitrim) July 12, 2023.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Celbridge. John, beloved husband of Una.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral service at 1.30 pm on Thursday afternoon (July 13) at Elm Hall Nursing Home.

Removal from Elm Hall at 2.15pm on Thursday afternoon (July 13) to Glasnevin Crematorium arriving for Funeral prayers at 2.45 pm.

Francis Eustace, Athy, County Kildare and formerly of Cherrybrook Drive, Drogheda. July 8, 2023.

Suddenly at Naas General Hospital.

Francis is predeceased by his parents and brother.

Survived by his daughters Laura, Niamh and Andrea, their mam Marian, sons in law, grandchildren, brother and sisters and extended family.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes (A92 XN75) on Friday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.

Burial will take place privately on Saturday.

Balyna, Broadford, Kildare.

The death has occurred of Edward (Ned) Farrell, living in Birmingham England and formerly of Balyna, Broadford, County Kildare on July 10, 2023 after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Amy and kids.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Anne, Jane and Sammy, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Maeve (Mary) Grehan (née Fitzpatrick)

Dun na Riogh, Naas, Kildare / Crumlin, Dublin.

Formerly of Fernvale Drive, Crumlin, Dublin 12.

Peacefully at Naas Hospital and recently in the kind care of Larchfield Nursing Home, Naas. 

Beloved wife of the late Michael. 

Maeve will be deeply missed by her loving daughters Rita and Fiona, son Colm, daughter-in-law Carol, son-in-law Gerry, Rita’s partner Philip, grandchildren Keith, Lauren, Robert, Rebecca, Shauna, Laoise and Cian, extended family, friends and the staff and residents of Larchfield Park Nursing Home, Naas.

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91 CD0K) on Friday evening from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. 

Funeral on Saturday morning with Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas and afterwards to St Corban's Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas.

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kathleen) McEvoy (née Quille)

Leinster Street, Athy, Kildare / Templeglantine, Limerick.

Catherine passed away peacefully in the loving care of staff of Lourdesville Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her dear husband Jim and brother Patrick. 

She will be sadly missed by her family, daughters Elaine, Caitríona, Aoife and Celine, sons Ultan and Cathal, son-in-law Paul, Muiris, grandchildren Caitlin, Colin, Aoibhín, James, Archie and Edward, her sisters Maura, Peggy and Helen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Kathleen will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday evening, July 13. 

Kathleen’s funeral cortège will be leaving from her home McEvoy’s Leinster Street, at 10.40am on Friday morning, July 14, to arrive at St Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in St Michael's New Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Margaret Saunders (née Miskimmin)

Celbridge, Kildare / Belfast, Antrim.

July 11, 2023, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Hugh and much loved mother of Hugh and Elizabeth.

Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, grandchildren Kaitlin, Conor, Darryl and Ciaran, daughter-in-law Debbie, son-in-law Darryl, sister Patricia, relatives and friends.

Removal to St Patrick’s Church, Celbridge on Saturday (July 15) arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon followed by a private committal.
