The All-Ireland winning Ladies Senior Football Team will be guests of the Curragh racecourse on Saturday, August 26.
A presentation will be made to the team lead by Grace Clifford during the race day and racegoers will have the opportunity to meet some of the players and congratulate them on their success.
Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager, said: "We are delighted to have the opportunity to acknowledge the fantastic achievement by the team and their management who has brought huge pride to the county and we look forward to welcoming the players and their families to the races."
The race day, which will feature 8 races starting at 4.05pm, includes a host of events and activities to raise funds for Cancer Trials Ireland and will feature the inaugural running of the Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Ireland Charity Race supported by The Grafton Hotel.
Racegoers will have the opportunity to donate to this very worthy cause during the race day and enjoy a fun evening for all the family which will include post-race party with Superfly, one of Ireland’s most popular funk and soul bands performing on stage after the last race in the grandstand.
