County Kilkenny resident allegedly caused criminal damage to garda car in County Kildare

A man residing in County Kilkenny allegedly caused criminal damage to a garda car in County Kildare, Naas District Court was told.

Appearing before Judge Desmond Zaidan on Thursday, November 23 last, was William Fitzgerald, of the Good Shepherd Hostel in County Kilkenny, but who is currently remanded in custody on other matters.

Gardaí alleged to the judge that on August 14, 2022, the 33-year-old accused committed the offence at the Ballymore Eustace roundabout.

After a book of evidence was served on Mr Fitzgerald by gardaí, Judge Zaidan sent the case forward for trial to the next sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court, which will commence on January 16, 2024.
