It’s about to get spooky and soulless in The Abbey, Clane as Clane Musical and Dramatic Society prepare to take to the stage with The Addams Family; a bleak and dreary musical comedy that will have audiences rolling in the aisles with laughter.
From Tuesday, 16th April till Saturday, 20th April this stellar cast will make sure that each and every audience member has a night to remember. Tickets are onsale now at Gr8 Events; but hurry as they are selling fast.
This year, CMDS are proud to introduce their all-female production team of Director, Jennifer O’Brien, Musical Director Gráinne Uí Lúing, and Choreographer Grace McGrath; a match made in heaven.
CMDS are delighted to boast a supremely talented cast ranging from a vocally gifted Wednesday Addams played by Bronwyn Goulding to an insanely outrageous Grandma Addams played by CMDS stalwart Elaine Moore-O’Donohoe. Be sure to come along to hear the outstanding vocal agility of Edel Marron as Alice Beineke; another CMDS fan favourite.
Leading man, Art McGauran, is no stranger to the stage, but you usually find him in the director’s chair. His portrayal of suave Spaniard Gomez Addams, is sure to have every woman swooning. Playing opposite him is the supremely talented Sinéad Byrne, who was born to play the part of Morticia.
CMDS is also delighted to welcome newcomer, Paul Nestor into the role of Pugsley, who at the tender age of 13 is one to watch for the future.
CMDS cannot wait to welcome you to The Abbey, for a night of laughs, fun and well-meaning innuendo. Get your tickets now for what is sure to be a spectacular evening.
