New building proposed for disability support group's branch in Athy, County Kildare

A disability support group is seeking to expand on its branch in Athy.

A planning application with Kildare County Council shows that Kare is seeking to make the changes to its site at Shrewleen Lane in Athy.

Specificaly, Kare is seeking to erect of a single storey prefabricated structure (proposed floor area: 45.1 square metres) to the rear of existing Kare building.

The group is also seeking permission for all ancillary works.

The date received on the application is listed as July 17 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as August 20 and September 10 respectively.

Kare provides services and supports for people with intellectual disabilities in the Kildare, east Offaly and west Wicklow areas.
