Developers have been blocked from increasing the height of an apartment block from four storeys to five storeys in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
Kildare Co Council refused planning permission for the change to the development at The Paddocks, Knockaulin.
Being proposed was the additional storey to Apartment Block B, increasing its height from 4-storey to 5-storey.
This planned change was designed to provide five additional apartments.
Also planned were changes to existing floor levels and heights, the relocation of previously approved Bike Store.
Four a additional bike parking spaces were also proposed.
