Taste of Kildare comes to Naas Racecourse in August

Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO) is proud to announce its impressive lineup of local food and drink producers, craftspeople, and culinary innovators representing the county at Taste of Kildare 2025.

The festival will take place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August at Naas Racecourse, Co. Kildare.

This year’s showcase will shine the spotlight on 50 outstanding Kildare-based businesses, each bringing unique flavours, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to the county’s premier food festival.

From artisanal chocolates and award-winning cheeses to small-batch bitters, exquisite non-alcoholic wines and gourmet condiments, the LEO Kildare producer’s village promises an immersive and vibrant experience.

Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise, Economic Development and Tourism, Kildare County Council said: “Taste of Kildare is not only a celebration of food; it's a celebration of local enterprise, talent, and innovation. We are thrilled to support and promote such a dynamic group of small businesses who are putting Kildare on Ireland’s culinary map”.

LEO Kildare’s Food Cluster, Flavours of Kildare, located on the ground floor of the Tote Hall will include brands such as: 

• Hollow Leg - a non-alcoholic wine brand, making major traction in California and beyond

• Donadea Wagyu - a start-up diversifying from primary agriculture into premium branded beef products 

• Fused by Fiona Uyema - fusion sauce brand which won the regional award at this year’s National Enterprise Awards

• Aisling's Taste of Home - winner of the National Brown Bread Baking Competition 2021.

On the first floor of the Tote Hall, LEO Kildare’s creative cluster, GATHER, will feature a vibrant and diverse array of craft products including:

• Preserved floral brand One More Thing

• Irish Made Awards nominee and Network Ireland Women in Business finalist Pure Oskar

• Photographer Daniel J O’Neill, known for his exquisite photos of Kildare landscapes 

Taste of Kildare is the county’s flagship food festival, bringing together local producers, restaurants, and chefs in a celebration of culinary craftsmanship. The 2025 edition promises to be the biggest yet, with expanded offerings and live experiences across the weekend.

LEO Kildare’s participation underscores its commitment to nurturing local entrepreneurship by offering supports that enable small businesses to grow, innovate, and connect with new audiences through high-profile platforms like Taste of Kildare.

This is further emphasised by the planned launch of the county’s Food and Drink Skills Innovation Hub in Athy this September, and the curation of a Grain Trail across Kildare as a key tourism development project in progress.
