Celbridge Fergal Conway wins procession ahead of Clane Sam McCormack during the 2025 Joe Mallon Motors SFC
Celbridge recorded a hard-earned but fully deserved six point win over Clane in the second game in the SFC at Cedral St Conleth's Park, this afternoon (Saturday 9 August).
Playing with the aid of a strong breeze Celbridge led by three at the break (0-8 to 0-5) but having hit ten wides, looked somewhat vulnerable.
However, using their vast experience they dominated the second half, holding Clane to a mere two scores (one two-pointer) while upping their own game with full-forward Aaron Browne finding the range with three points bringing his total to five overall.
Good win for Micheal McDermott's side but a very disappointing display for Paul Kelly's Cane team..
Final score: Celbridge 0-14 Clane 0-8.
