Moorefield too strong for Kilcock in Kildare SFC

Evan O'Brien in top for for Moorefield against Kilcock

Moorefield made it back-to-back victories following their five point win over Kilcock at Hawkfield this evening.

It was a game The Moores dominated throughout helped by an early goal from Adam Tyrrell and some fine play from Evan O'Brien, it left the Newbridge leading at the break 1-10 to 1-4.

A couple of early points in the second half saw the lead pushed out, a goal from Mark Gibbons gave Kilcock some hope, that in the 39 minute left score 1-14 to 2-4.

However Moorefield upped their game again and added a few points and while Michael Stokes got a third goal for Kilcock in time added on, it was Moorefield who prevailed on a final score line of Mooreifled 1-17 Kilcock 3-6
