Eliser Alquizar

The death has occurred of Eliser Alquizar, Naas, Kildare. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Naas Hospital and formerly St. Vincent’s hospital.

Beloved husband of Floriza and adored Tatay of Raiza, Joanah and Rafa.

Eliser will be dearly missed by his loving wife, children, parents Nena and Silvestre, brothers Eric, Norbeh, and Neal, sisters Nesyl and Nesmarie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends in Ireland and the Philippines and his many work colleagues from Birdseye.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Margaret (Rita) Giltrap (née Lynch)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Rita) GILTRAP (née Lynch), Leixlip, Kildare / Navan, Meath.

GILTRAP (née Lynch) (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Beaupark, Navan, Co. Meath) September 27 2025 (peacefully) at her home, Margaret (Rita), beloved mother of Margaret, Karen, William and the late Catherine, Pauline, Tommy, John and Noel, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear partner of Rod.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Sinead, sister Theresa, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends R.I.P.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday evening (September 30) from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey, Leixlip on Wednesday morning (October 1st) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.

Donations if desired to the St. Brigid’s Hospice, The Curragh.

Marian James

The death has occurred of Marian James, Fengrove, Standhouse Road, Newbridge, Kildare / Suncroft, Kildare. Formerly of Carna, Suncroft, Co. Kildare.

Pre-deceased by her parents Tom and Patricia, brother Tom and granddaughter Aly.

Sadly missed by her loving partner Michael, children Michelle, Barry, Jason, Derek, Kenneth and Michael, son in law, daughters in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Marian Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, 32 Main Street, Newbridge from 5pm on Monday concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal by Glennon's Funeral Directors on Tuesday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Suncroft for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Christina (Chrissie) McCabe (née Murphy)

The death has occurred of Christina (Chrissie) McCabe (née Murphy), Ballinderry, Carbury, Kildare, W91 T2DD / Clonbullogue, Offaly.

Late of Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly.

Chrissie passed away (peacefully) in the care of Sancta Maria Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Jim and Julia and her brothers and sister. She will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her family: husband Johnny, daughters Julie, Linda, Carol, Michelle and Aisling, brothers Paul and Michael, sisters Lily, Patty and Marianne, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Chrissie Rest in Peace.

Chrissie will repose at her home (W91 T2DD) this Monday from 5pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Broadford followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank you for your kindness and support at this sad time.

Margaret (Madge) McDonnell (née Jevens)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Madge) McDonnell (née Jevens), Kilcullen, Kildare.

Margaret (Madge) McDonnell Nèe Jevens, Newberry, Castlemartin lodge, Kilcullen, Co.Kildare. Who died on 26th Sept 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Craddock House nursing home Naas.

Beloved wife of the late Christy deeply regretted by her loving children Elizabeth, Garry, Christine and Sarah, Sons-in-law Michael, Lance and Jan, daughter-in-law Andrea, grandchildren Ellen, Sarah, Matthew, Daniel, Christopher, James and Robert relatives and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Sarah's residence Sunnyhill, Castlemartin Lodge, Kilcullen (eircode R56 N624) on Monday Sept 29 from 4pm until 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from there on Tuesday Sept 30 to the church of the sacred heart and St Brigid's Kilcullen arriving for 11am funeral mass which may be viewed on https://mcn.live/Camera/church-of-the-sacred-heart-and-st-brigid-kilcullen followed by burial in St Brigid's cemetery Kilcullen.

Anna Melia (née Lyons)

The death has occurred of Anna Melia (née Lyons), Ashley Gardens, Portlaoise, Laois / Kill, Kildare.

Anna Melia (nee Lyons) Ashley Gardens Portlaoise and late of Kill Co. Kildare. Sept 26 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of Kilminchy Lodge Nursing home.

Predeceased by her sons Derek, Brian and David. Beloved wife to Pat and loving mother to Elaine (Hickey) and Alan.

Cherished grandmother to Cian, Jamie, Sophie, Rebecca and Odhrán.

Deeply regretted by her loving family. Son in law Ken, daughter in law Siobhán. Brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces. Relative and extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral home on Monday evening from 6 pm until 7.30 pm, with rosary at 7 pm. Removal on Tuesday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 11 am requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery Portlaoise.
