BREAKING: Two Kildare pizza delivery drivers have vehicles stolen in separate incidents

Both crimes occurred in the same area

Work begins on new Dominos Pizza outlet on Kildare / Laois border

Kildare gardaí are probing the theft of vehicles which were robbed from take away food delivery drivers.

The incidents occurred in Naas and left the victims considerably shaken.

The gardaí received report of the theft of a car that occurred at approximately 12:30am on October 9 in the normally tranquil Lakelands residential area.

They are also investigating a separate but similar incident on October 1 at about 9pm.

It's reported locally that the pizza was ordered via phone and the vehicle was taken after the driver was approached by three men after he left the vehicle to ascertain the address he was delivering to.

The gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
