Edward (Eddie) Coonan

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Coonan, Clonsast, Kilcock, Kildare.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Edward (Eddie) Coonan.

He passed away peacefully in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, after a brief stay following a long illness.

Predeceased by his brother Willie and his brother-in-law Allen.

Beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Richard and Anne-marie, father-in-law of Vanessa and Pádraig.

Adored grandfather of Jessica, Isabelle, Dalton and Beth, who were his great joy. Loved by his sister Marie, sister-in-law Mary, and all his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Coughlan, The Square, Maynooth, Kildare / Naas, Kildare.

Coughlan, William (Willie), The Square, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and late of South Main Street Naas, Co. Kildare, October 10 2025. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown after a short illness. Recently predeceased by his loving wife Liz and deeply regretted by daughters Ciara, Gráinne and Niamh, sons David and Barry, daughters-in-law Cora and Maire, sons-in-law Rob and Tony, grandchildren Cara, Matthew, William, Isabel, Hannah, Daniel, Emily, Andrew and Peter, sisters Kathleen and Olie and brother John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends and former colleagues.

Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Leinster St., Maynooth (W23V99E) on Wednesday (Oct. 15) from 4pm to 8pm, with evening prayers at 7pm. Removal from Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home on Thursday (Oct 16) at approx. 11:00am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Maynooth for 11.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery.

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Donoghue, Harpur's Lane, Portlaoise, Laois, R32A6WK / Monasterevin, Kildare.

William (Willie) Donoghue. Harper's Lane Portlaoise Co. Laois and formerly Monasterevin Co. Kildare.

Deeply regretted by his father Liam, mother Rose, loving sons Kyle, Dante and Riley, brothers Daniel and Richard, extended family, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence (R32 A6WK) on Wednesday October 15 from 5pm till 8pm with prayers at 7 pm. Funeral will arrive at SS Peter and Paul Church Monasterevin on Thursday For 11am requiem mass, followed by interment in Saint Evan's Cemetery Monasterevin.

James (Jim) Melia

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Melia, Ticknevin, Carbury, Kildare, W91 T2FY.

Jim passed away (peacefully) in the care of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his mother and father Betty and Jim and his sister-in-law Moyra. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Sarah, son Alan and his partner Hector, brothers Mick, Paddy and Ned, sister Lily, father-in-law Kit (Duffy) nephew Darren, nieces especially Pamela and Louise, grandniece Emma, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Jim Rest in Peace.

Jim will repose at his home (Eircode W91 T2FY) this Monday and Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm with a Rosary on Tuesday at 7pm.

His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 1.30pm in The Holy Trinity Church, Derrinturn followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after an illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his sisters Máire, Anna, Margaret, Dolores, Olive, his infant sister Deirdre and his brother Seán.

Peter will be reposing in Navin's Funeral Home, Mill Street, Westport F28 XR61 on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral arriving to St. Mary's Church Westport on Thursday morning at 10.30 for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock with the funeral proceeding to Shannon Crematorium for Service at 3 o'clock.
