A TD for Kildare South has urged anyone with information relating to a fatal Kildare town incident to come forward to An Garda Garda Síochána (AGS).
Ryan Gibbons (also known as the late Ryan Weir Gibbons), aged in his 20s, had been hospitalised for his injuries following a serious assault on October 26 last and was subsequently pronounced dead on October 30 last, according to a spokesperson for AGS.
A number of tributes have since been paid to the late Ryan Gibbons on social media.
And now, Sinn Féin Deputy Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh is the latest person to pay tribute to the late Ryan Gibbons.

The Kildare town politician said: "I know I speak for the entire community of Kildare when I say that we are all heartbroken at the devastating news of Ryan’s death.
"This was a shocking and senseless act of violence that has left a deep wound in our town.
"My thoughts are first and foremost with Ryan’s family, friends and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. I offer them my sincere and heartfelt condolences."
She added: "It has been moving to see the outpouring of love and tributes to Ryan online, where so many people have spoken of his kindness, humour, and generous spirit.
"By all accounts, he was a warm and friendly young man who will be terribly missed."
She concluded by urging anyone who may have any information on the incident, "no matter how small", to assist the gardaí in their investigation.
Deputy Ní Raghallaigh's tribute to the late Ryan Gibbons coincides with a renewed appeal from AGS.
A spokesperson for AGS said: "Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone with information in relation to this incident: "Any road users who were in the area between 2am and 4am and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí."
The spokesperson added: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact Kildare [town] Garda Station on 045 527730, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station."
