A woman told Naas District Court that her furniture was taken apart and “thrown into a pile” by her ex-partner.
The woman sought protection at a family law hearing.

She further alleged that other items were thrown into the pile and she claimed his behaviour is aggressive and ongoing.
“He squared up to me. He said the next time my belongings would be in the garden,” she told the court.
The man was neither present nor represented.
Replying to Judge Miriam Walsh, the woman said the man wants to come to an agreement to sell the house.
“I can’t stay there, he’s putting me in fear,” she claimed.
Judge Walsh granted an interim protection order and said that if he puts her in fear, she can contact the gardaí.
Adjourning the case to September 9, she said the order will be served on him by the gardaí.
