Gardaí are seeking information and / or dashcam footage in relation to a single vehicle collision which occurred in North Kildare.

The appeal was highlighted on KFM yesterday (November 12 last) by Garda Ann-Marie Reilly, who appeared on one of the station's programmes as a guest.

She explained that the incident occurred in Maynooth (specifically, on the Junction 6 — M4 Westbound) on the evening of Wednesday, November 5 last.

According to Gda Reilly, the vehicle involved in this collision was coming from Dublin to Mullingar and ended up colliding with "a grass verge".

She concluded by urging anyone with information and / or dashcam footage of the incident to send it to Celbridge Garda Station on 01 628 8222.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this incident, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred at approximately 11.30pm on November 5 last on the M4 in Maynooth, County Kildare."

They added: "No injuries were reported."
