Brophy, Patrick Oliver MVB, MRCVS, Boston House, Straffan, Co Kildare, December 15 2025, peacefully at Naas General Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Sadly and forever missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Richard and Conor, daughters Caroline, Serena and Audrey, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Aoife and son-in-law Barry, his precious grandchildren Kate, Patrick, Grace, JP, Anna, Oisin, Niamh, Diarmuid and Eamonn.
Predeceased by his parents Dick and Moira Brophy, (Jigginstown, Naas) and his sister Mary.
Deeply regretted by his sister Jacinta, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends and colleagues throughout UCD, Naas Rugby Club and Naas Golf Club.

Pat will repose at his residence for family and close friends on Wednesday evening. Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, The Waterways, Sallins, Co. Kildare (W91K6PN) on Thursday (December 18) from 4-8pm, with prayers at 7pm.
Removal on Friday (December 19) by Oliver Reilly Funeral Directors, from Pat's residence at 12.30pm to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Kill for 1pm funeral mass, followed by burial in Straffan Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations is desired to Friends of Naas Hospital. Donation box will be in Funeral Home and Church.
