A local councillor has reminded the people of Newbridge that the deadline for the Public Consultation Survey in relation to the Lakeside Park / Dara Park area is fast approaching.

Social Democrats Cllr Chris Pender issued the reminder about the survey, which was initially announced on December 5 last, this morning (January 5).

According to Cllr Pender: "Kildare County Council is asking residents to share their views through an online survey to ensure the design reflects the needs and interests of local people."

Furthermore, Kildare County Council has said that the feedback "will help shape the future of Lakeside Park and Dara Park".

The survey will close at 4pm on Friday, January 16, 2026.
