People living in County Kildare have been urged to answer an online survey which examines transport and traffic congestion issues.
The call was made by Kildare South TD Mark Wall, who also shared the survey on social media yesterday (January 7 last).
The Labour Party representative's request comes a month after he called on the government to implement a Labour Party plan which, according to Deputy Wall, would "end the ongoing motorway misery being experienced by many rural commuters travelling to Dublin"
Speaking on the survey, Deputy Wall said that transport has become "one of the biggest workers’ rights issues" over the last number of years.
He elaborated: "We have people spending their lives stuck in traffic getting to work, our motorways have turned into car parks, while there is a real lack of timely public transport.

"I want to hear from you on this issue; please take two minutes to complete my survey on transport and traffic congestion.
"I want to build a picture of the transport issues impacting people getting to work, college and appointments so that we can find solutions."
He concluded: "If you could please share the survey with anyone you feel may be impacted, it would be greatly appreciated."
The survey can be accessed here.
