A handwriting workshop designed for parents, teachers and healthcare professionals is due to take place in a County Kildare hotel.
The 'Handwriting Without Tears' workshop offers strategies to make handwriting easier, more natural, and enjoyable for children of all ages and abilities. It is being hosted by the children's charity Sensational Kids.
Led by internationally recognised expert in paediatric occupational therapy, Tania Ferrandino, OTR/L is the senior programme manager at 'Learning Without Tears', a workshop which combines demonstration, theory and interactive activities.
Karen Leigh, the founder and CEO of Sensational Kids, said that the organisation is "delighted" to host the workshop back to Ireland this year.
She elaborated: "Participants will learn multisensory strategies proven to enhance handwriting instruction.
"In addition, they will gain confidence in teaching and remediating handwriting for diverse learners, and they will be able to access digital tools and hands-on resources to support classroom and home learning."
Ms Leigh also asserted that the event will be "a fantastic opportunity to learn practical strategies that make a real difference in children’s lives".

'Handwriting Without Tears' will take place on March 6, 2026 inside the Killashee Hotel in Naas.
The workshop will commence at 9am and conclude at conclude at 5pm (Registration begins at 8.30am).
