Would St Brigid have been into yoga if she was alive nowadays? Who can say...
What is known, however, is that a yoga session inspired by the patron saint of Kildare is coming soon to the town of Newbridge.
Hosted by Tara Thompson of The Quest Yoga, the event, 'Soul Sunday', is a St Brigid-inspired yoga session which will take place at Balanced Bodies Holistic Centre.
According to Ms Thompson, the session will serve as "a gentle, nourishing way to connect with the themes of St Brigid".
'Soul Sunday' will take place on — you guessed it — St Brigid's Day 2026, which is also falls on a Sunday this year.
It will begin at 2.30pm and conclude at 4.30pm.
Tickets cost €55.
Anyone seeking further information or who wishes to make a booking can do so on www.thequestyoga.com.
