A Sports First Aid event will be held at a premises located on the Kildare-Wicklow border next month.
Organised by Wicklow Local Sports Partnership, This course is suitable for coaches, instructors, teachers, supervisors, sports assistants, volunteers and all involved in sport.
It should be noted that the minimum age for this course is 16, with parental consent required for anyone 16 to 17 years old.
A variety of subjects will be examined by the course, including: the contents of a standard First Aid kit; patient assessment; head injuries and unconsciousness; and spinal injuries.
The course will take place on February 21, 2026.
It will begin at 9am and conclude at 4pm.
