Kildare face Westmeath this Friday, January 16 in the 2026 Dioralyte O'Byrne Cup final at Cedral St Conleth's Park. Throw-in is set for 7:30pm.
The Lilies are coming off a nine-point win over a much-changed Dublin but the overriding sentiment from their pre-season semi-final clash was that any win against The Dubs is a welcome one.

Westmeath meanwhile were putting 5-10 on the board against an Offaly side who gave Kildare plenty of trouble last year. Brandon Kelly hit 2-1 for the The Lake County while Luke Loughlin, who Kildare fans will remember from his exceptional performance in their Leinster Championship meeting last year, registered 0-3. To complete the scoring breakdown of the full-forward line, Danny McCartan grabbed a couple of goals of his own.
